Are you a potential friendly visitor?

Looking to volunteer?  Want to make a difference?

The City of Melbourne is seeking people to volunteer with their new Friendly Visitor Program.

Connecting residents who are at risk of becoming socially isolated with volunteers who provide companionship and social support.

Volunteers need to be eager to meet new people and have an open mind to learning.  This is a gift of friendship.  It’s only one hour each week and can be as easy as a coffee at a local cafe.  It’s a meaningful experience that will make a big impact.

For more details, visit City of Melbourne.
