Bee Keeper courses anyone?

by | Mar 14, 2012 | Food, Loving Life, Products

The Urban Honey Co are often called on to give talks about bees and sustainable ways of doing business at Melbourne events as well as touring schools and kindergartens.

The industry has been quoting a steady decline in bee keeping as a profession so how fabulous is it that many young (and young at heart) people are interested in learning more about these amazing creatures who we depend on for much of our food!

You can do a beginners bee keeping course with their free monthly bee groups!

Lyndon is a busy bee himself taking bees from place to place on his bike – he is also environmentally aware!

As part of their carbon neutral philosophy and policy the honey sold by Urban Honey Co. is produced as close to the point of sale as possible, aiming to average within 5km, in some cases it is as little as a few metres.

They also sell fabulous honey products!
