I love tuna and eat it often. It’s so convenient in the tins and packs – and a great source of protein and Omega 3. I guess we all know that but did you know that Safcol use responsible catching methods? And they take responsibility for conservation requirements consulting with appropriate conservation groups!
Wow – this company is really thinking beyond profits. This is a perfect example of a business who cares and is creating a quality product but not at the expense of our marine ecosystems. My new friend at Safcol said they really want to change the fishing industry here in Australia and need all the help they can get. I’m supporting them by buying only Safcol tuna – so who’s with me?
Good on you Safcol for making us a tasty (I just had some on my salad and seriously, their tuna is really really good) and meaningful product – and educating us so we make the best choices for our future!
