I’m MAD for Making a Difference

by | Jun 20, 2012 | Events, Loving Life

Social entrepreneur Melina Schamroth is making a difference.  The founder of m.a.d.woman (making a difference) has a number of MAD projects on the go!

The creator of the unique Single Volunteers dating program, Grateful in April, Gals Doin’ Good networking events, motivational speaker and author.  Melina is my role model.  I don’t dream of being a movie star – I dream of achieving what Melina has – a ‘making a difference’ star!

This Thursday 21 June, Melina and many others will be sleeping outdoors to raise funds to help create change for some of Australia’s most vulnerable people.

Next week, she’ll be doing it again in Auckland to help get Kiwis off the streets.

As I sit here with my heater on, a hot cup of tea, a hot shower & warm bed only minutes away I think about those who don’t have this.

The CEO Sleepout in Australia and/or the Big Sleepout in New Zealand is meaningful. Visit the CEO Sleepout website to donate.
