Meaningful Gift Ideas #3

Essential Oils

I LOVE ESSENTIAL OILS. Whilst I have a lot of doTERRA products, there are many amazing quality oils available to choose from. Oils contain the “essence’ of the plant’s fragrance and are very therapeutic.

When purchasing, I highly recommend you check the ingredients to ensure the oil is pure and natural.

One of my favourites is Frankincense, an ancient oil traded within the Middle East and North Africa for over 5,000 years! I first smelt this amazing oil while travelling in the Middle East and the scent takes me back to the hot sandy streets of Oman. Frankincense oil is sourced from the resin of the Boswellia sacra tree and has a delicately sweet and woody scent. I use this oil on my body or in a burner when I want to relax or need to ground myself.

I now wear oils as perfume. I select what resonates with me at the time and often mix a few together. Today I’m wearing Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint and Rose. #lovethefeeling

Oils are a great gift to give. Whilst this is a personal style of gift remember you can never have too many oils. Consider popular oils such as Tea Tree, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Eucalyptus or Rose oil. All have their own unique benefits to not only heal or energise the person but also cleanse and clean our homes naturally. I rarely use chemicals to clean these days. I am a big supporter of ENJO cleaning products and I combine this natural approach with a splash of Lemon, Tea Tree, Wild Orange or Peppermint oil if required.

Oils are a gift for the senses – one that your gift-receiver will remember because the sense of smell is closely linked with memory.

Enjoy your #meaningfulgiftgiving with something natural and thoughtful.

Peace

Single in the Silly Season

I'm really grateful for my life as it is. I'm single and I'm happy about it. At this time of year, I can do whatever I want - when I want. #singal [I'm creating a new hashtag for us single gals!] I usually find this time of year an effort. I kind of drag myself...

Surrender

Surrender

One of my big lessons over the past few years was to let go of the idea of control. We can only control certain aspects of our lives and how we react to situations. In my learning and development world, we call this the Circle of Concern and Influence. Stephen Covey...
