Spring into Summer fashion with Origen Imports

by | Oct 8, 2012 | Loving Life, Products

I may not be a fashionista but I know what I like and what suits me.  So when I find clothing that works with my shape (and budget) I am forever theirs.

I realised recently that I have been shopping at Origen Imports for over ten years!  A decade of purchasing beautiful quality clothing that stands the test of time.  This is not just a store – it’s a shopping experience filled with unique and eclectic pieces for all occasions.  And every product is a real ‘investment’ (Ladies, I’m sure you understand what I mean!).

As an Australian company Origen Imports support many local designers.  Founder, Rose Marie Stirling, is also an avid traveler and supporter of local artisans and offers unique designs and products from many developing countries.  She recently launched her new eco-sustainable Balinese collection which is amazing (wait until you feel the fabrics!).

Origen’s diverse cultural representation takes me around the world and inspires me in so many ways.  Visiting their store is like a journey to lands far and wide.  The team are all experts at creating outfits to suit YOU and they really know how to work the clothing with their stunning accessories.  It makes shopping that much more fun!

Recently I’ve been to two fashion shows where they have showcased their fabulous eclectic range.

Here are some gorgeous colourful outfits and accessories that I know will inspire you for Spring and Summer.

The outfits just pop with their bright and cheery colours and patterns.

They are fun and fabulous for the new season.

The jewellery is unique and can really make an outfit shine.

And there is always more on the way!

Single in the Silly Season

I'm really grateful for my life as it is. I'm single and I'm happy about it. At this time of year, I can do whatever I want - when I want. #singal [I'm creating a new hashtag for us single gals!] I usually find this time of year an effort. I kind of drag myself...

One of my big lessons over the past few years was to let go of the idea of control. We can only control certain aspects of our lives and how we react to situations. In my learning and development world, we call this the Circle of Concern and Influence. Stephen Covey...
