Things really need to change.

Seriously, there is something wrong with our legal system if justice cannot be done because of loopholes! This Herald Sun article identifies the hard work the RSPCA go through to care for mistreated animals and fight for their rights.  Yet sometimes that fight ends with no win.  And unfortunately that can mean a costly loss – for RSPCA and the animals.

But I wonder, what can I do to make a difference?  If you read my recent article on Oscars Law, there is no protection for the dogs in puppy factories and they must be abolished.

I’m supporting Oscars Law, along with my friend, Vanessa Leigh, with 20% of profits from the sales of Matchstick Gardens sold through Vanessa Leigh’s salon.

And I’m also supporting RSPCA and their hard work in the Million Paws Walk.  This is their biggest fundraising event.  Funds raised help assist the RSPCA to operate its animal shelters, support its Inspectorate services and provide community education on animal welfare issues.  Check out details here!  Those with dogs, feel free to join Zac and I!
