Seven Women is making a difference in the most meaningful way.

It all began when Stephanie Woollard, a LaTrobe University student at the time, met seven disabled women on a trip to Nepal who were enduring harsh discrimination as a result of being disabled (which was seen as being ‘evil’ in a past life).

Stephanie knew a sustainable approach to helping them was through supporting their training and developing a charity to sell their products. Seven Women was born.

The inspirational team behind Seven Women has been able to establish two centres in Nepal which have trained and employed over 700 women.

Fast forward to today and the not-for-profit is making a real difference in the lives of many through their various projects. For more information and to get involved, visit sevenwomen.org.
